  1. Jared Armstrong

Og Mandino states, “Always do your best. What you plant now, you will harvest later.” A simple idea is conveyed here but a powerful one at that. D Grant Smith embodies this quote. What we plant in our hearts, whether joy, peace or hate, will grow out of our body in our words and actions. D Grant Smith is a lover of people and knowledge. He is a modern Rocky Balboa, able to take punches over and over again in this life and stand even stronger. Not only does his ideas resonate with me, but his humor and personality makes reading Be Solid a joy. D Grant Smith is able to handle difficult subject matters while injecting his own style of teaching. I was reading about letting go of my hateful feelings and then being shown how this turns us into zombies. D Grant Smith has a special talent for writing making it easy to stay engaged and willing to learn.
In his book Be Solid, he crafts a mindset for the reader to embrace in times of difficulty. D Grant knows how to encourage the reader while showing the reality of pain. Instead of crumbling to our knees in struggle, D Grant speaks a message of persistence and growth. The messages throughout Be Solid inflict hope on the reader and breathe fresh air into our lungs. The world is filled with pain and suffering but having a guide like D Grant Smith relieves some of the struggle. If you follow the steps in his book, a positive change will occur. Do yourself a favor and read D Grant Smith’s book Be Solid.

D Grant’s book ‘Be Solid: How to go through hell and come out whole’ is a great tool for anyone with the desire to improve own their lives,  relationships, and restore balance through practical practices and personal experience.  It’s a treasure trove of information and a fantastic guide to becoming a better version of yourself.  For me Be Solid was an incredible read, and an important reminder for boundaries, balance, and wholeness!
